The spectrum and the amplitude of isocurvature baryon-number fluctuations are calculated which are generated by light scalar fields which carry non-vanishing B - L quantum number in supersymmetric theories. It is shown that in the case they conserve B - L the spectrum is of cosmologically interesting shape but its amplitude is negligibly small. On the other hand, in the case they violate B - L and generate the baryon asymmetry through the Affleck-Dine mechanism, the spectrum is almost scale-invariant, so that its amplitude is strongly constrained by the isotropy of the microwave background radiation.
