The present program to study for the first time solar-like cycles in the X-ray emission of stars similar to our Sun has been ongoing since XMM s AO-1. Five targets in three stellar systems have been monitored since 2001, providing for the first time clear evidence of long-term cycles in the X-ray luminosity of normal stars, with variations in X-ray luminosity of up to an order of magnitude. We request continuation of the ongoing monitoring program into XMM AO-10, needed to progress toward full characterization of the coronal cycle for our targets.
