The goal of this WF/PC project is to extend our knowledge of the stellar population in arms, disks, and bulges of the nearest star-producing galaxies. In M31 our target is one giant HII region (NGC206) and its neighborhood. In M33 our targets is a giant HII region (NGC604) and its surrounding neighborhood. Deep U, V, I frames (F336W,F555W,F814W) will be used to construct color-magnitude and color-color diagrams, and to derive age, metallicity, reddening, and luminosity functions.
