The Precision Measuring Microdensitometer (PMM) has completed the task of digitizing and compiling the raw catalog from the Palomar Observatory Sky Survey I (POSS-I) O and E plates, and has processed about one third of the POSS-II UJ, SJ, SF, and SN plates. Correlations of the entries in these catalogs yields the position, magnitude, color, and proper motion for a large number of stars. Extending the analysis to include correlations with the 2-Micron All Sky Survey (2MASS) catalog increases the accuracy in isolating particular stellar populations. This investigation concentrated on a high latitude field near SA57 and a low latitude field near HHE-1 where data were taken with the 2MASS Protocam in May 1995. The principal difficulties were encountered in removing spurious faint objects from the photographic catalogs, and developing a robust algorithm for identifying objects with relatively large proper motion. The astrometric accuracy of the PMM and 2MASS zone catalogs is good enough to remove most of the spurious correlations in all but the most crowded regions.
