Our previous HST GHRS observations of the main sequence A1 V star Sirius A have revealed completely unexpected spectral pecularities and physical properties of that well-known star such as the presence of emission features below 1220 Angstrom and the existence of a weak stellar wind. We propose to further observe these emissions to explore their origin and the stellar wind to fill the gap in our knowledge of intermediate stars.
