The current status of the solar neutrino problem is reviewed. Three general points of view on the problem are summarized: (1) the standard theory correctly predicts the temperature distribution in the solar core and correctly takes account of reduction in the production rates of high energy neutrinos, (2) the standard theory is wrong and incorrectly predicts the temperature distribution in the core (consideration, instead, is given to mixing in the core, the He-3 hypothesis, and the nontransparence of solar material), and (3) the standard model of the evolution and structure of the sun is inaccurate; temperature in the core changes with time and our solar epoch has a relatively low core temperature, with a small flux of neutrinos from Be-7 and B-8.
