Using TV spectroheliograms in the He I 10830 Å line it is shown that the number of dark helium points observed on the solar disc in 1986 - 1988 changed in the antiphase with the Wolf numbers. About 500 dark helium points were observed at the minimum of solar activity, their number should decrease to several dozens at the maximum. The number of light knots in the K Ca II line varies insignificantly in the phase with the Wolf numbers, the correlation coefficient being equal to 0.81.
