It is well known that phase transitions arise if the interaction among particles embodies an attractive as well as a repulsive contribution. In this work it will be shown that the breakdown of Lorentz symmetry can be interpreted as a repulsive pseudo-interaction, the one appears as a counterpart to the effects produced by the bosonic statistics, which can be contemplated as an attractive interaction. Afterwards, it will be proved that the breakdown of the Lorentz symmetry predicts, for some cases, the emergence of phase transitions and critical phenomena, which could be used as a test for those theories entailing this kind of violations.
