An analysis is made of the problem of the optimal spatial-temporal filtering and interpolation of phase fluctuations connected with radio-wave propagation in the turbulent atmosphere in the presence of noise, taking saturation of medium-permittivity fluctuations into account. The solution to this problem is obtained using a conditional-Markov-process approach extended to random fields in the Gaussian approximation. Formulas for the mean square error of the estimates are obtained, and a posteriori spatial correlation laws of the estimated fields on the receiving aperture are investigated.
