Scientific paper

The regression relation relating the ΣKp index of
geomagnetic activity to the solar-wind parameters has been confirmed and
refined. A regression relation which connects the value of
ΣKp on a given day to the value of the solar-wind
velocity on the subsequent day is obtained and interpreted.
