Scientific paper

A set of J, H and K images of 12 bulge clusters, namely Ter 1, 2, 4, 9, Lill 1, HP 1, Djo 1, 2, NGC 6540, 6544, 6522 and 6453, was obtained at the European Southern Observatory (ESO), La Silla, during two observing runs in 2007 July and 2008 June. We used the near-IR camera SofI, mounted on the ESO New Technology Telescope (NTT) in large field-mode, which is characterized by a pixel size of 0.288arcsec and a total field of view of 4.9x4.9arcmin2.
