Calculations of absorption of solar Lyman-alpha by hot interstellar H between the sun and earth are presented. Comparison with a reported absorption feature shows that the observed FWHM is too narrow to be reconciled with resonant backscatter observations and that the lifetime required for the interstellar H to pass through the solar wind is much longer than expected from solar fluxes or cometary observations.
