The influence of the electron non-thermal kappa-distribution on the excitation equilibrium of Fe ions from Fe IX to Fe XV is studied. It is shown, that the shape of distribution affects the electron excitation rate and the relative intensities of the spectral lines. As the ionization equilibrium of Fe is affected by kappa-distribution, the whole Fe line spectrum is also influenced. The possibilities for diagnostics of the shape of the electron distribution in the solar corona are discussed.
