One of the most interesting findings of Cassini's CDA during close flyby with Enceladus on July 14th 2005 was the asymetric dust impact rate relative to the closest approach position which suggested a locally enhanced dust production in the south polar region of Enceladus. A comprehensive study of the CDA data by Spahn et al. [2006] have revealed that at least 85% of the grains are generated near Enceladus' south pole in geophysical processes. In this presentation we report on the detailed numerical modeling of the dynamics of dust escaping the south polar region of Enceladus, using an extention of our previous modeling of the E ring [Juhasz and Horanyi, 2002, 2004]. We show that the nonzero initial v_z component of the escaping dust has important consequences by greatly extending the dust-moons re-collision lifetimes. With these new long lifetimes, dust production from Enceladus is indicated to be the dominant source of the E ring, and many of the observed spatial structures can also be explained.
