Bottom Mesons, Models Beyond The Standard Model

In the last decade, flavor physics has witnessed unprecedented experimental and theoretical progress, opening the era of precision flavor tests of the Standard Model, and at the same time allowing to search for effects foreseen from new physics in the flavor sector. In this respect the precise measurement of the Bs-Bs mixing parameters, performed at the Tevatron collider, are playing today a fundamental role in constraining physics beyond the Standard Model. Here I will briefly review the experimental status of these measurements, together their impact on several new physics scenarios.
