We propose to observe the polarisation of ~140 pulsars discovered in the Parkes Multibeam Pulsar Survey which have mean flux density at 1400 MHz >0.4 mJy and no published Faraday rotation measure (RM). Pulsar RMs provide extremely valuable probes of the large-scale structure of magnetic fields in our Galaxy that can be used to discern between the various different models, e.g., Han et al. (2006) and Brown et al. (2007). The proposed observations will also provide the first measurements of the polarisation of these pulsars and give useful data for long-term programs such as pulsar timing and pulse emission mechanism studies.
