We have studied physical conditions of coronal magnetic field which determine solar wind velocity using interplanetary scintillation method. A flux expansion rate (f) and magnetic field energy (B) have been proposed as parameters which determine the solar wind velocity by {Wang and Sheeley} (1990) and by {Fisk et al.} (1999), respectively. However we have found that the solar wind speed has much better correlation with a ratio of those two parameters B/f than with an individual parameter.
