Local helioseismology uses the solar p-mode and f-mode waves to study the physical conditions of local regions below the solar surface. Here we review four methods used in local helioseismology: Fourier-Hankel analysis, ring-diagram analysis, time-distance analysis, and acoustic imaging, as well as some of results from these methods. The problem of solar cycle variations of meridional flows is discussed as an example. We also mention some of prospects of Solar-B data in local helioseismology.
