The Sloan Digital Sky Survey is among the first of the new generation of
large scale sky surveys that enabling the construction of revolutionary
new cluster catalogs. I describe here some of the experiences of
creating a SDSS cluster catalog, some of the computational challenges we
encountered, and what we can expect in the near future. .
