The results of a search for evidence of weak burst events in the data recorded by the Signe 2MP detectors 1 and 2 are presented. It is noted that the counting rate of pulses in the detectors was recorded simultaneously in the 27-270 keV energy channels every 10.24 sec. Data obtained when the satellite was passing near the earth are excluded from the analysis. Also excluded are cases in which X-ray flares on the sun were being recorded. It is found that pulses of hard X rays with an energy density of 4 x 10 to the -7 erg/sq cm at the earth are being emitted by the Crab Nebula.
