A magnetotelluric profiling method (i.e., the method of operational
search for inhomogeneities) was used to investigate geoelectric
inhomogeneities in Mongolia. Magnetic-anomaly data point to the
existence of crustal fractures, which agree with tectonic data on the
region studied.
