We propose to obtain broad band images and intermediate resolution spectra for a sample of Seyfert galaxies for which we have high resolution VLA radio maps. With the proposed observations, we will be able to determine the host galaxy inclination, major and minor axis position angle, the direction of the host galaxy rotation and its orientation relative to the plane of the sky. This data, together with the information about the extended radio structures, will be used to study the orientation of the accretion disks relative to their host galaxy disk, to establish whether indeed the accretion disk axis avoids close alignment with the host galaxy disk axis as indicated in early studies. This proposal is a continuation from the previous semester. The data obtained here is of extreme importance for the homogenous and systematic determination of the above quantities, for the analysis of the errors involved in these measurements, and to eliminate a degeneracy in the statistical determination of the angle between the radio jets and the host galaxy plane axis.
