The SBUV/TOMS is designed to measure the extraterrestrial ultraviolet
solar irradiation and the solar ultraviolet radiation from the earth and
its atmosphere. Methods to recover the ozone information from
backscattered ultraviolet measurements are described. Mapping of the
total ozone and 200 mb height fields is obtained.
