It is shown that in that closed Friedman universe which is the de Sitter space the time-asymptotic quasi-classical particle concept, as understood in this paper, is not possible for the conformally coupled Klein-Gordon field. It is argued that for the well-known infinite rate of particle creation per unit volume the particles do not belong to physical models.
