The gravitational instability is investigated for rigidly rotating
gaseous disks with magnetic field whose mean direction is parallel to
the rotation axis. The eigenvalue problem for the linear perturbations
is solved numerically. It is found that there is an emprical dispersion
relation which fits the numerical results quite well.
