The joint analysis of data on integral stellar magnitude of comet Halley and theoretical distributions of brightness showed that the coma will be obviously optically thin up to the nucleus boundaries. It is expected that the nucleus of Halley's comet will be accessible to imaging with a TV camera. A set of photometric models of comets is given useful for a choice of characteristics of TV and pointing systems for imaging of the comet central region from a cometary probe.
