The generalized Hamiltonian equations of motion for a gravitationally
interacting two-body system, resulting from a slow-motion expansion of
Einstein's field equations up to the order 1/ c5, are given
explicitly. The appearing quadrupole radiation reaction force is
different (in form) from the well-known and often used one.
