An equation for small but finite perturbations propagated through the plane of a rotating, gravitating gaseous disk is derived that includes fifth-order nonlinear effects. The breakup-instability criterion for the disk differs from the corresponding criterion in the cubic-nonlinearity case. Two branches of soliton-type solutions are obtained which differ from each other in their structure and formation conditions as well as in their stability.
