Variations in the dynamic parameters of Phobos are determined for the case when the semimajor axis reaches the critical value (7247 km) at which zero gravity occurs on the Phobos surface near the equator. It is found that the rate of variations increases significantly for this case. The total dissipated mechanical energy during the whole tidal history of the system is estimated at -5.5 X 10 to the 21st kg sq m/sec squared. Also, the total decrease in the second zonal Stokes parameter of Phobos is shown to be -0.066.
