Forty observations of transient phenomena on the moon are added to a previously published catalog of more than 700 such observations. The authenticity of the observations is discussed along with the nature of their temporal distributions and possible associations with surface activity. Primary attention is given to data that may indicate the presence of a localized transient gaseous or dust 'atmosphere' on the moon.
