It is noted that the recent observation by the Kamiokande II collaboration and the Irvine-Michigan-Brookhaven collaboration of a neutrino burst from supernova 1987A in the Large Magellanic Cloud has opened up a new era in observational neutrino astrophysics. Also of importance in this emerging field are the observation of solar boron-8 neutrinos and the detection of high-energy point sources. The scheme of a future worldwide network of superneutrino detection experiments and Lake experiments on neutrino astronomy is suggested.
