The application of automated spectrum-rectification techniques to stellar radial-velocity determinations is described in the context of (1) large-scale survey work and (2) large-light-ratio binary stars. Improvements to the methods are described in cases where flux conservation and equivalent-width accuracy are not required, and the dependence of the results upon signal-to-noise is demonstrated.
