Numerous bias exposures in 1 x 2 binned mode are taken in order to permit construction of "superbias" frames in which the effects of read noise have been rendered negligible. Only primary amplifier D is used, in gain=1 setting. All exposures are internals. This calibration activity was initiated after realizing that this binning mode is as heavily used as the non-binned mode.
