Hst Proposal Id #7220 Galaxies

Scientific paper

We will do direct imaging with NICMOS camera 2 and filter F160W of a sample of optically-selected luminous QSOs at intermediate to high redshifts in order to study the nature of the host galaxies and their environments. The sample consists of a broad absorption line QSO, a sequence of QSOs a at z 1 with a range of about 100 in the QSO luminosity, and 4 high redshift {1.8, 2.7, 4.5} QSOs.
