Consideration is given to a set of atmosphere models of K giants with T = 4400 K, log g = 3.0, 2.5, and 2.0; and with Teff = 4000 K, log g = 2.5, 2.0, 1.5, and 1.0, with solar chemical composition. Values of damping constants determined by natural, Stark, and van der Waals broadening mechanisms are obtained for these models. It is shown that lines of moderate intensity have different sensitivities to variations of the damping constant.
