Six IRAS deep fields containing serendipitous infrared sources were observed at 6 and 20 cm using the NRAO Very Large Array (VLA) in its C configuration in order to identify possible radio counterparts. Each IRAS map of 0.5x1.5 deg contains an average of 10 objects and is reasonably well covered by a limited number of VLA observations. The positional accuracies of the IRAS and VLA instruments are typically of the order of 1 arcmin and few arcsecs respectively. Results concerning source coincidences are presented and infrared and 6 cm radio data on these objects are compared. The combination of detectable emission at far infrared and cm frequencies as well as the shape of the spectral distribution over this bandwidth make these objects interesting for millimeter and submillimeter observations.
