It is found that the magnetic field gradient in the flare of July 25, 1981 changed its sign with depth not less than 2-3 times. This result was obtained during the investigation of the flare's Zeeman spectrogram which involved the use of magnetosensitive lines located in the far wings of the H-beta line. It is suggested that the oscillating tail left behind by an MHD-soliton propagating in the flare is responsible for this marked sign change.
