We present a database of equivalent line widths and velocity splittings of the strongest metal lines of 46 low-redshift possible Damped Lyman-α (DLA) systems. Different composite spectra of these DLAs were made to reveal much weaker absorption lines. We also present first results on imaging and spectroscopy on two galaxies at z ˜ 0.7 associated with a Damped Lyman-α system.
