We obtained a statistically robust global 40Ar/39Ar isochron age at 656
± 81 ka (MSWD = 1.29; P = 0.12), dating the Lonar impact event.
This age is based on the combination of 5 isochrons and strongly
contrasts with a previous age estimate of ~52 ka.
