Sun-Weather Relationship
Scientific paper
Material ejected from the Sun during sunspot maximum years reduces the
flow of cosmic radiation that reaches the Earth. Fluctuating cosmic ray
exposure in turn affects electrostatic charge at the cloud tops,
influencing ice nucleation and ultimately the amount of precipitation
that falls to Earth.
