Lunar semi-monthly variation of the electron density at fixed real heights h of the ionosphere at noon over Ahmedabad during the period January 1963 to December 1965 have been computed. During any of the seasons, the amplitude is found to increase uniformly with height above about 160 km and the phase seems to be constant with height. At any fixed height above 160 km the amplitude is largest during winter and least during summer.
