A nearly 20 year space-based record of MLT winds exists due to the combined operational lifetimes of the High Resolution Doppler Imager (HRDI) and TIMED Doppler Interferometer (TIDI). The length of this record is long enough to begin to understand long term variations over extended latitude ranges, a feature that complements ground based instrumentation which may exist for a longer time but be limited in location. HRDI and TIDI operations overlapped for three years providing ample opportunity to cross-calibrate the instruments. This paper will show some of the long term features seen in the combined data set with special consideration given to possible artifacts due to combining data from the two instruments.
