A numerical model has been developed which simulates the thermal emission from the surface of slowly rotating, airless bodies. The model produces disk-integrated thermal emission spectra which show the effects of thermal beaming expected for a rough surface. The model also has the ability to produce 2D model images of thermal flux and is particularly useful for analysis of thermal infrared data from Mercury.
