Scientific paper

A smooth particle hydrodynamics simulation of a high angular momentum
collision involving two collisions between an impactor and a target
protoearth is reported. Although more than enough material to form the
moon is obtained, the resulting angular momentum is too high and there
is no prospect of removing it.
