There are 66 clusters of galaxies in the ROSAT North Ecliptic Pole (NEP) survey extending to a redshift of 0.83. We quantify the rate of X-ray luminosity evolution previously detected in this sample by fitting simple models to the distribution of its cluster redshifts and luminosities. We compare our results from the NEP sample with those of other high redshift X-ray selected cluster samples.
