A list is presented of minor planets which are much brighter than usual at their 2008 apparitions. There will be very close approaches by 4450 Pan, (137032) 1998 UO1, and (153591) 2001 SN263, and moderately close approaches by Apollo-type asteroids 1620 Geographos, and (16960) 1998 QS52, and Amor-type asteroids 3691 Bede, (8567) 1996 HW1, and (11398) 1998 YP11.
