A Ps 6 pulsation event during the recovery phase of a geomagnetic storm in the morning sector of April 21, 1985 was recorded by the EISCAT magnetometer cross in northern Scandinavia. Simultaneous measurements of E- and F-region plasma parameters were taken by the EISCAT incoherent scatter radar with a latitudinal scanning program. Electric fields and height-integrated Hall and Pedersen conductivities are derived and two-dimensional patterns of these quantities are constructed for one Ps 6 period. The observations can be explained by the ionospheric current and electric field model suggested by Opgenoorth et al. (1983) which includes the effects of both electric fields and conductance variations.
