The CORSIKA program has been used to simulate several million air
showers for the observation height of Mt. Chacaltaya with a threshold of
0.5TeV. Angular and energy distributions of electromagnetic particles
are compared to experiments. The multiplicity distribution exhibits a
tail extending to values of several hundred.
