The shower size spectra of the electromagnetic, muonic and hadronic
component of extensive air showers are measured simultaneously with the
KASCADE detector. A knee is observed in all spectra corresponding to a
primary energy about 4PeV. The observation of a knee in the hadronic
component is presented for the first time.
