We examine the dynamical stability of stellar objects comprised of both bosons and fermions, which provides a two-parameter set of configurations. We elucidate the role of conserved quantities and find the region of parameter space where the configurations are dynamically stable against radial perturbations, using techniques which may be somewhat more general than this specific application. As a limiting case we reproduce results on the stability of boson stars and of fermion stars.
